This training is geared towards new supervisors/managers or seasoned supervisors/managers who would like a refresher.
This one day workshop is designed for managers and supervisors who have experience in their positions. The course provides participants the opportunity to work through more complex problems in managing and supervising employees.
Managing Employee Performance: Participants will learn how to set expectations, practice delivering feedback, and deal with difficult employees.
Handling Conflict: Unresolved conflicts are among the most common issues in workplaces and represent great risk to the organization. This session provides managers with the tools to resolve conflicts in a positive manner.
Building Effective Teams: Teams that work well together produce better results and feel more connected to the organization. This part of the workshop teaches supervisors/managers the necessary steps to build solid teams.
Conducting Effective Meetings: Meetings are a way of life. The meeting structure used and the behaviors displayed determine whether the meeting is effective or a waste of time. This session teaches participants how to structure meetings for maximum effectiveness and how to recognize and manage meeting behaviors.
