Board of Directors Activity – Fall PY22

The August 19, 2021, board meeting minutes were approved at the November 18, 2021, meeting and are now posted on the Enduris website here. Your comments or questions are always welcome.

The annual meeting was held in November. Enduris’ actuary (John Griffith of Aon Risk Consulting) presented Enduris’ actuarial report as of August 31, 2021. In addition, Enduris’ broker (Doug Wozniak, Senior Vice President, of Alliant Services) and reinsurers (Andrew Halsall, President & CEO, of Government Entities Mutual) gave presentations regarding the insurance industry. The Year in Review presentation for Policy Year 2021 was delivered by Sheryl Brandt, our Executive Director and Kimberly Millikan, our Director of Finance.

Board Director Kim Bedier, from the Tacoma Venues & Events submitted her letter of resignation from the Enduris Board effective July 28, 2021. In addition, Jeri Sevier from Port of Olympia, also submitted her letter of resignation from the Enduris Board effective October 31, 2021. Both Ms. Bedier and Ms. Sevier have been valuable board members since February 2012. Their leadership and support have been exceptionally valuable to the Enduris organization. Ms. Bedier and Ms. Sevier will be dearly missed; the Enduris board and staff wishes them all the best. The Board Development Committee (BDC Chair BiJay Adams, Matt Schanz, and Vicki Carter) will be working with the Executive Director to recruit candidates and fill the vacancies as soon as possible.
