Broad Coverage Based on Members' Needs

Enduris has created its own coverage document to provide broad and comprehensive coverage to the membership. The coverage document referred to as the Memorandum of Coverage (MOC) offers broad coverage, is reinsured with top quality insurance providers, and is occurrence form.

The core coverage includes General Liability, Auto Liability, Employment Practice Liability, Property, and Public Officials Error and Omissions. Other coverage available includes Auto/Physical Damage, Boiler and Machinery, Crime/Dishonesty, Cyber, and Accident and Health (for fire districts).

We also assist our members in obtaining specialty coverage including Marina Owner’s Legal Liability, Airport Liability, Underground Storage Tank, Special Events, and increased limits for fire districts’ Accident and Health.

Our policy year is September 1 through August 31. Each member provides a contribution annually to the pool. The contribution is the cost for coverage and is developed by a credentialed actuary. Their development of the member’s contribution reflects the member’s exposures and loss history.

Please contact the office for your current Memorandom of Coverage.

Identity Theft

Becoming a victim of identity theft is a frightening, frustrating experience. It can happen to anyone at any time. Enduris members’ employees, officers, directors, commissioners, and volunteers, including family members who are residents of the same household now have coverage provided through Travelers Identity Fraud Expense Coverage Master Policy. See our Cyber Liability page for more details.

Accident and Health (fire district members)

In addition to the state benefits provided to volunteer and career firefighters, Enduris provides an Accident and Health benefit that is available to its member fire districts. The policy is written through Provident Insurance Agency. This supplemental program is provided at no additional cost to the Pool member or firefighter. Coverage limit is $25,000 and available to all career and volunteer firefighters as well as the district’s other volunteers. This benefit is claims made.

The Provident disability benefit is not intended to replace the existing State of Washington Volunteer Firefighters’ and Reserve Officers’ Relief and Pension or other state benefits. This benefit is designed to work in conjunction with and enhance the state benefit(s).
