Stop Harassing Me!

The event is finished.

Audience:

Suitable for audiences at all levels in the organization, and particularly impactful for leaders who would appreciate specific examples of the types of behaviors that would violate an organization’s anti-harassment policies and expectations. Participants who enjoy a good story and a laugh or two are encouraged to attend.

Description:

Be kind, be respectful, and play nice with others. More than just playground rules from our parents, these social value propositions should be the hallmark of every workplace. Unfortunately, inappropriate workplace behaviors continue to create unnecessary barriers to our commitment to EEO principles of equality, inclusion, and tolerance. Using gamification and an engaging, highly interactive, and entertaining group activity, this informative program uses real-world protected-class scenarios, humor, and a dynamic presentation style to explore harassment, discrimination, retaliation, bullying, and more. It’s all fun and games when the lawyer shows up, so join us and Let’s Play!

Training Objectives:
  • Review different levels of legal risk associated with claims of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.
  • Learn the difference between harassment and bullying in a legal context and explore related safety concerns.
  • Explore real world scenarios involving harassment, bullying, and other inappropriate workplace behaviors.
  • Apply critical thinking skills to evaluate scenarios and develop appropriate responses.
